Linh Ung – Bai But Pagoda stands on the 20-hectare land of Son Tra mountain with many items: the main hall, the lecture hall, the ancestral house, the road halls, the library, the cafeteria, and the Arhat statue garden. The pagoda is a combination between the contemporary style and the traditional style of Vietnamese temples.
- Linh Ung pagoda – The most important and visible highlight of the Linh Ung pagoda is the Lady Buddha statue – the tallest one in Vietnam (67m high). It is also placed on a 35m-high lotus diameter, making the total height over 100 meters, equivalent to a 30-floor building.
Then we continue take photo in front of Intercontinental Sun Peninsula Resort where you can see a lot wild monkeys stading on the trees, roadsides and the rocks. Besides, you also visit the eight hundred years old Banyan Tree – a Vietnam heritage tree and Chessboard Peak – which is 693 meters above sea level.
- The 1000 year Banyan Tree – Son Tra banyan tree also known as the high mountain banyan tree, belongs to the Mulberry family with more than 800 years old, 22 m high, the circumference of the main stem and the cluster of sub-stems is up to 85 m. Branches and main trunk, sub-body connected, firmly connected to create a solid stand for the tree over the centuries.
- Since being discovered in 1771, Son Tra banyan tree was considered as one of the most majestic tree of Vietnam.
We will add on visiting Ban Co peak, Rada Station for taking photo and take an overview of Danang beach city from the mountain.
- Ban Co peak – is situated in the Son Tra Nature Reserve on Son Tra Peninsula, about 9 km from Da Nang city center. The peak is located at an elevation of 700 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area. It is also the highest peak in the city and among the best places to visit in Da Nang.
The last attraction we will visit is Viewpoint (Vong Canh Hill). There is an amazing view from here.
- Vong Canh house – If you want to visit Vong Canh Hill, it is safer to move during dry and sunny days. Coming here, you can see the panoramic view of Ngoc Island, as well as the image of Hai Van passing in the distance. An additional treasure of this hill is the fresh and comfortable ambiance.
