- Option 1: Hanoi -> to Hon GaiHarbour, BaiTu Long Bay, Halong Bay, by the old and normal driving road, it is logger as 160 Km / 4-hours driving / One Way. (Not Recommended – It takes too much time). The private Car going by the old and normal driving road: With distance about 160 km Hanoi, it takes about 4 hours to move from the airport to Hon GaiHarbour, BaiTu Long Bay, Halong, QuangNinh Province. By this way you can save a bit of money for your trip, but it takes you much longer time than the Option 2 below. (If you take our transport going by this old normal way, it costs US$ 8 cheaper than going on the Highway road as mentioned in the option 2.
- Option 2: Hanoi -> to Hon GaiHarbour, BaiTu Long Bay- Halong by New Highway, Only 120 Km / 2.5 hours driving / One Way. (Highly Recommended) – The private Car going by from Hanoi to the New Highway: With this option, the distance Hanoi to BaiTu Long Bay will be more shortened. It is just about 132km. Moreover, this is new highway dedicated to cars, so the speed will be faster than the old road. Therefore, it only takes about 2.5 hours to move to Halong Bay. Based on your needs, you will choose the best way for you. If you take transport by this high way options, it cost you as the prices listed as below:
